Angela A. Ruffini, Esq., CFL, is an Associate Attorney with Tabat, Cohen, Blum, Yovino & Diesa, P.C. practicing exclusively in all areas of matrimonial and family law. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Ruffini served as the Principal Court Attorney to the Honorable Hope Schwartz Zimmerman, J.S.C., Supervising Judge of the Nassau Supreme Court, where she worked closely with Judges presiding over divorce actions and post-judgment matrimonial matters including, equitable distribution, maintenance, custody, parenting time, contempt matters and child support. Her unique court experience in conferencing and settling matters with counsel and pro se litigants allows her to take an alternative dispute resolution approach to cases, as she has first-hand knowledge of the intimate details that go into rendering decisions that serve families best inmatrimonial cases. Notably, Ms. Ruffini is a Certified Divorce Financial Litigator. She was also published in the Nassau Lawyer in the May 2021 Edition for her articleon social media and its impact in matrimonial litigation. She has also previously been published in the Family Court Review, which appears in the April 2017 Edition.
Ms. Ruffini regularly attends continuing legal education seminars in the areas of matrimonial and family law so that she is always kept up-to-date on all developments in the law.
